Nike Air Max 95 - Black/Court Purple

Nike’s grip over its icons is one of strength unknown, seemingly avoiding their loss as they further blend past colorways onto fresh releases. Painting the uppers of the Air Max 95 with loving homage, the beloved “Aqua” scheme arrives in full representation, putting together its most recognizable of hues across its various layers. Profiles, in cascading fashion, drop down in a gradient of black to an extremely light grey, with the in-between shades only adding needed dimension to combat the largely untouched upper swathes. Toe caps as well as the topmost overlay are aligned in a tiled texture, standing out slightly next to the blue eye stays and purple tongue. Swooshes as well as lining following the latter for a small yet complete love letter to what Beaverton’s heritage.
