Red Wing - Chelsea Boots

Image
We are now mid way through the year, warmer months, albeit slightly less warm this week and we would like to take this opportunity to welcome a couple of new Chelsea Boots to our collection of Red Wing shoes which we have been long awaiting.  Over the years we have seen Red Wing's Chelsea styles come and go.  But we are pleased to welcome it back to Red Wing's collection in its latest form.   Its upper silhouette is identical to Red Wing's Rover style , rounded toe with plenty of space, built on their no.8 last and classic good year welted construction.  They have chosen a traction tread sole which gives the wearer the upmost comfort, flexibility and grip for different terrain, currently available in the amber and ebony different leather types pictured below.

Red Wing - The Sawmill

Image
Taking inspiration from outdoor and sporting boots from their extensive archive we are very excited to introduce the completely new Sawmill boot from Red Wing. Available in Olive Mohave and Briar Oil Slick , the Sawmill boot is Goodyear welted with an added storm-welt for extra protection form the cold and wet weather.  It features a Cambrelle lining and a felted wool footbed to keep your feet toasty. The Cambrelle lining is completely new to Red Wing's heritage collection.  It offers great comfort and moisture management. The Bi-component fibres mean that the lining can constantly adapt to the movement of your foot and helps not only to keep your feet warm and dry but in warmer climates can keep your feet cool as well.   The collar of our Sawmill boot is made from the same deerskin as we use for our gloves to give a soft, water repellant ankle support.  For the first time since the Heritage collection began Red Wing have used "D-rin...

Red Wing - 6-inch Classic Moc

Image
The 6-inch Classic Moc is synonymous with Red Wing Heritage. The boot’s unmistakable moc toe and Traction Tred outsole form a silhouette that sets the standard by which all others are measured. The Classic Moc was first made by Red Wing in 1952. In the decades since, it’s grown into one of the most beloved lifestyle boots in the world. Originally made for sportsmen, the boot quickly grew into a favorite of farm and factory workers for its long-lasting construction, steady traction, and all-day comfort. The Classic Moc’s beloved features live on today, as the boot is built with the same pride and process now as it was then. Moc toe construction and the iconic Traction Tred rubber outsole lead the way, and Puritan triple stitching and a Goodyear welt make the boot a legend in durability. A new pair of Red Wing Heritage footwear should fit comfortably tight on the foot, with enough room to freely wiggle toes. As you wear the footwear, the full grain leather upper, ins...

Red Wing - Wacouta

Image
New to our growing Red Wing range is the Wacouta . Following in the tradition of the Wabasha, a widely-celebrated moccasin-style Red Wing boot from the mid 2000s, the Wacouta is an outdoor leisure-inspired boot. Five miles south of Red Wing, Minnesota, along the banks of the Mississippi River, Wacouta Township is the site of a cabin that has been in the Red Wing family for three generations. Sunny days at the beach and starry nights around the bonfire inspired the boot’s relaxed, comfortable design. The Wacouta 3336 combines Briar Oil Slick leather and olive waxed canvas from Fairfield Textiles, an American manufacturer since 1838. The waxed canvas uses the Martexin™ Original Wax system, globally renowned for its long-lasting waterproofing properties. The 3336 is built on a Vibram® Honeywheat Outsole, with a stichdown construction providing lightweight flexibility and comfort. The Wacouta 3335 combines Copper Rough & Tough leather and tan waxed canvas from...
