Red Wing - Wacouta

New to our growing Red Wing range is the Wacouta.

Following in the tradition of the Wabasha, a widely-celebrated moccasin-style Red Wing boot from the mid 2000s, the Wacouta is an outdoor leisure-inspired boot. Five miles south of Red Wing, Minnesota, along the banks of the Mississippi River, Wacouta Township is the site of a cabin that has been in the Red Wing family for three generations. Sunny days at the beach and starry nights around the bonfire inspired the boot’s relaxed, comfortable design.

The Wacouta 3336 combines Briar Oil Slick leather and olive waxed canvas from Fairfield Textiles, an American manufacturer since 1838. The waxed canvas uses the Martexin™ Original Wax system, globally renowned for its long-lasting waterproofing properties. The 3336 is built on a Vibram® Honeywheat Outsole, with a stichdown construction providing lightweight flexibility and comfort.

A new pair of Red Wing Heritage boots should fit comfortably tight on your foot, with enough room to freely wiggle your toes. Over time the Full Grain Leather upper, Leather footboard and Cork Midsole mold to your feet, creating an enduring and customized fit over time with each wear.
