I have been seriously geeking out recently by gaming far too much and by watching way too many movies. So to help you guys out, here is a wee review blog! Movies first, what have I seen recently? Tomorrow When The War Begins It has been getting great reviews and apparently it's one of the biggest movie from Australia ever... Well, it is! However, what other big Australian movies are out there to make hat such a good thing? It starts of great. With a good mix of characters and a bit of action, full of promise. Then when the film is about to start, it ends. It was like watching a intro to a war movie that has never been finished. If there is a sequel ever made, it will probably be good but sadly this is like an episode of home and away with a few guns and explosions. Suckerpunch Suckerpunch is a weird one. Lots of people have hated it, saying the scenes in the movie don't really tell you what is supposed to be happening. I followed it fine and I question these peopl...

Last Day

So the time has finally come... After nearly 4 years of working in Fat Buddha I must leave to chase my dream of becoming a photographer. I will still be working there, doing website photography and helping out but I will no longer be working in the shop. Sad times... Met tonnes of cool people, a few famous people and even made a few good new friends so thank you all for the banter and the good times! I also learned 1 important lesson... Graffiti is cool If you are about Glasgow today come and say hello or goodbye and if not and you want to keep in touch I use Flickr , Twitter and Facebook and all the rest of them. So please visit my website , there are tabs to them all on the main page and add me as you see fit. Also expect to see me randomly blogging on the Fat Buddha blog still with my injections of geeky nonsense. So I will simply say... ... And leave you with The Last Song... Movie Geek

The staff here at Fat Buddha store all love a good movie. I am no exception. Last night I went alone to see Season of the Witch starring Nicholas Cage and Ron Pearlman... I wasn't expecting much having been dragged along and found myself quickly perking up in my seat at the excellent opening. I even jumped a little... It then got a little slow again until they set off to take the Witch to her doom and both the voyage and final scenes were quite excellent. I very much recommend this to anyone into a good, mindless action/horror. Few jumps and surprises, everyone was well cast and it was just enjoyable without trying to ram anything down your throat. Other movies we saw trailers for... Suckerpunch ... This has hot girls, big guns, robots and swords... What more really needs said? The Green Hornet 3D ... While I don't really like Seth Rogan, this looks pretty decent. Finally, this looks pretty rubbish but all us Glasgow folk will watch it anyway =) NEDS Davi...

Paint it Black

Today the only thing on my mind... Isn't painting things... It's Call of Duty: Black Ops I expect to come home tomorrow to have it sitting waiting on me and I don't plan on being sociable again for at least 3 days. So here is a little homage to all things Black here at Fat Buddha Store while we all wait patiently on the launch. Featuring Carhartt , The Hundreds , Chocolate , Breo  and Benny Gold . For anyone who lives in a hole here is a wee look at what Black Ops is: - Any Xbox 360 gamers out there get the staff added! JOOPninja thisisfraser Calum2007 David
