Time for a look at a modern take on an old classic...The 1950's American diner phone. It was a staple in most diners in America from the early 50's and didn't change in style until around 1965. The telephone we have on offer is from a British company called Wild and Wolf .    1950's American Diner Telephone    As you can see the phone stays as true to the original as possible, it features a push button for "coin release" as well as a authentic rotary look, it also has a "returned coins" slot. The deposit coins slots are functional (although not need to make a phone call) and so is the lock box (key provided) at the bottom, so not only are you getting a phone but also a surprise money box, you'll also hear the jingle of your coins going down. Just got these new Biscuit Mugs from Make International in the shop the other day. 'Biscuits' is a range of mugs designed by artist Martin Winscombe who, from his home in rural France, nostalgically recalls his favourite English biscuits. Within the range is a Jammy Dodger, a Pink Wafer, Party Ring, Chocolate Digestive, Nice Biscuit, Rich Tea, Bourbon and a Custard Cream. The illustrations decorate the unique tankard shape produced by head of design at Make, ceramicist Keith Brymer Jones. As your turn your mug, bites are taken out of the biscuit giving the design a humorous twist. But don't be too upset if you enjoy the wrong biscuit with your cuppa! Fraser.

Every day in work I am forced to laugh by someone staring and giggling at our cheeky little Shy Lamp in the Sales Desk Window (Usually old ladies!). When we got in the range of Mr P products from Propaganda we were all very impressed by the fun nature of the designs and have since been a HUGE hit here at Fat Buddha! The Propaganda website even has a little fart powered, Mr P Angel cursor! It's fantastic! The mugs especially, constantly fly off the shelves and we are forever having to fill them up and order more. However, the best product in my opinion is the Shy Lamp ! I have lost count of the amount of people who stand and drag their friends back to window to have a laugh at Mr P's expense. Poor wee guy! I definetly could have done without the one wee old woman who decided to stand in the street shouting 'I'd rather have the real thing!' though. Have a great weekend folks, don't be shy now...

Gloomy Bear bloody paw, this bad boy is 24 inches long, bloody end, you can stick your whole arm in here and its pretty great, oh aye forgot it also double as a pillow, but why would you.
