This summer brings you a blockbuster, not the movie kind, but the streetwear kind, the masters of German footwear, have been raising eyebrows the past year with the expansion of the cream footwear range, and the 2nd colab of this year from Puma teams them upwith the masters of American streetwear, Alife. Puma x Alife a clothing & apparel clash, that is a bit OTT, typical Alife, typical Puma footwear,  Alife are now considered the elder statesmen of streetwear, up there with Undefeated and Supreme, when it comes to talking about streetwear, you can't talk for long before the name Alife comes up, when you talk about footwear, the same thing happens with Puma, a footwear giant.  It seems that these two brands are a perfect fit. One of our most popular shoe's here at Fat Buddha Store has to be the Nike SB Zoom Stefan Janoski , and it's just arrived in store in this great new hunting inspired colourway.  The Medium Olive/Urban Orange-Black color combo is new for 2013 and looks sure to be a big hit. Pairing a predominately suede upper of olive and black with an olive green canvas tongue, the kicks see a gum rubber outsole, white rubber foxing, a black foxing stripe, and bold hits of orange to the likes of the lining, embroidered Swoosh, and tongue branding. You can check out more pics below. The shoe is available in store now at Fat Buddha Store and online in the next few days. You can check out more from our range of Nike SB trainers and more Janoski's here , or just swing by the store for a closer look for yourself.

Shoe Customs

Bought some of our new Angelus paints this week to try them out. I have an old pair of Nike Air Flights, used for basketball, in the worst colours imaginable (I'm not proud, but I am cheap) so I thought I'd complete them and turn them into true bad taste. I also saw it as a chance to experiment with the paint and see how it works so I could truthfully give advice to any inquistitive customers.  Answer-Shoe customising is really, really hard. Remondelling kicks is an extremely laborious but ultimately very enjoyable experience. But it's incredibly difficult. The paint ran every where, the detail was tricky, the fact it's a 3D object is a nightmare. But at the end of it, I looked at the terrible shoe I had created and realised that the whole time I had been the calmest I had felt in ages. The patience and devotion involved was probably beyond my impatient and lazy self but it's great. And you can create stuff like this: More over at my blog on the sidebar or try kick...
