Lacoste first officially christened its newest line Lacoste L!ve when it was launched on the runway in New York in 2009, where it was dubbed RED! after the bright and bold colour of the exclamation point juxtaposed to the crocodile logo. Lacoste L!ve keeps that signature ‘!’, which asserts its uniqueness, its difference and its identity. The line is very much a contemporary reinterpretation of the classic Lacoste shapes. Another great addition to our ever growing brand list at Fat Buddha Store is Spring Court Footwear. Theodore Grimmeisen, cooper by trade, decided in 1870 to leave Alsace native France to stay in Paris at the end of the Franco-Prussian War . He moved to Paris in the Belleville area and there he built a factory. His son was striving to improve the sealing of his barrels and developed prototypes that used rubber plugs and was particularly interested in this material. The son of Theodore, George Grimmeisen, invented in 1930 a rubber boot molded in one piece, so it was watertight , made feasible by a manufacturing process using compressed air to strip his boots.   In 1936 , wishing to practice his favorite sport, tennis , Georges invented the brand Spring Court. Edwin denim are loved by denim heads, streetwear enthusiasts and menswear aficionados the world over. Known for their exquisite denim and the various ways in which they have revolutionised and invigorated the denim industry, Edwin are truly a world leader and one of the best at their craft.   That's why it is so exciting to hear that they have teamed up with fellow skilled craftsmen Blitz Motorcycles for the second time. Blitz Motorcycles was founded in 2010 in Paris by Fred Jourden and Hugo Jezegabel with the sole intention of creating custom, one of a kind motorbikes with a true, gritty, old school feel. Edwin and Blitz Motorcycles have teamed up once before to create a brilliant line of motorbike inspired clothing and they are back at it again with some more cracking pieces. So, we just got a lovely restock of lomo film and we really got a great selection - both 35mm and 120 colour negative in various speeds, black and white, redscale and some cool colour slide film too! To me, the colour slide film is possibly the most interesting. While normal colour negative film gets processed in a C41 chemical when you take it to your local photolab, colour slide films is deaigned to be processed in an E6 chemical. However, if you take the slide film and cross-process it in a C41 chemical it gives photographs with huge contrast, whacked out colours and insane saturation. At the moment lomography have 2 of these colour slide films on the market - the first of which is the 'colour slide/x-pro 200' which is really rebranded Agfa RSX 200.
