Image
In 2020, two designers and outdoor lovers founded Carrier Goods. The creator's intense love of the outdoor gave birth to the business. Carrier Goods combines innovation and distributive approach with research and design and function, blurring the distinction between indoors and outdoors.   The brand dismantles the conventional definitions of what constitutes street wear and what constitutes outdoor apparel. With utility and contemporary design at the center of Carrier Goods DNA, a collection of winterized basics that are created using air light water resistant materials, stretch nylons, and breathable rip stops. The loose Alpine pants are coupled with silhouettes that evoke vintage ski wear and include exquisite movement elements and practical fastenings. Every shape is gender neutral and made to be worn and enjoyed by anyone. The boundaries between cities and environment are becoming more hazy as the need to discover one's "self" and "home" grows. Berghaus - Brand Profile

Image
For the Berghaus Brand, the start was quite simple. ''It all started when climbers and mountaineers from the North East of England became irritated by what they perceived to be a shortage of quality outdoor gear and decided to import and sell their own.'' The British outdoor gear and apparel company Berghaus Limited was established in Newcastle upon Tyre, North East England, and now has it's main office there. Peter Lockey and Gordon Davidson, two climbers and mountaineers, started it in 1996 with the intention of importing and distributing outdoor gear. The LD mouintain centre was the name of Lockey and Davidson's outdoor shop in Newcastle. They started creating and manufacturing their own goods in 1972 to sell at their store. They gave their company the name 'Berghaus' which means ''Mountain House'' in German.   In 1977, Berghaus became one of Europe's pioneers users of GORE-TEX fabric, a new waterproof and breathable fabric. Santa Cruz - Brand Profile

Image
The oldest continuously operating skateboard business in skating is Santa Cruz Skateboards. The company NHS was established in 1973 by three surfers who were also friends: Richard Novak, Doug Haut, and Jay Shuirman. NHS is an acronym for Novak, Haut, and Sherman. Due to the low profit margins from making surfboards, the startup company struggled to stay in business. However, unexpectedly, a friend from a Hawaiian company placed an order for 500 skateboards. Since they had an excess of fibre glass and few customers, they used the materials to fill the order, and the first Santa Cruz Skateboard was created in 1973. Santa Cruz Skateboards was founded after additional 500 boards were ordered after the skateboards quickly sold out.  The red dot and the Screaming Hand insignia are two of Santa Cruz's most recognizable marks. The very first logo that Santa Cruz ever used was the red dot. Jim Phillips and Jay Shuirman created the design. The Screaming Hand logo appeared soon af...
