Palladium’s New Recycled Collection Is Made From Plastic Bottles

For its FW20 collection, Palladium introduces a rugged selection of sustainable footwear. Made from 100% waterproof materials, the forward-thinking collection features hardwearing details, alongside sustainable and responsible components. With at least 9.5 recycled plastic bottles in each boot, the collection seamlessly fuses all-day sneaker-style comfort with rugged boot-inspired durability.

Palladium makes a bold play for sustainability, mixing rugged styles with recycled plastic bottles, repurposed rubber, and waterproof thermoplastic membranes. Led by a tonal colour scheme, each boot is championed by minimal branding and modern design, with colours such as classic all-black, vibrant orange and yellow

Founded on a storied heritage of over 70 years, the classic Palladium Pampa silhouette was originally designed as a resistant yet lightweight canvas boot. Fast forward to the 90s – the style was adopted by underground music culture, gaining popularity amongst grunge and punk scenes. The brand has since gone on to develop their range, introducing premium leather models and ecological styles.

The latest RECYCLED collection features an accompanying campaign that showcases two young survivors exploring a post-apocalyptic cityscape. The hopeful piece closes with a discovery of the new collection and an enlightening thought – making smarter consumer choices will have an immeasurably more positive effect on our planet and collective future.
