Skye Adventure

What have I been up to with my time now that I am no longer running about inside the Fat Buddha Store?

Well, mainly taking photos! However, not just any photos! I have been lucky enough to get Laura from ITVs Take Me Out back in front of my camera. Which was hard now she is a celebrity!

Make sure you say hello if you see her around Glasgow!

Just before that though my friends and I set off on an epic adventure up the West coast of Scotland. From Glasgow to Perth and up through Glencoe towards Skye. The plan was originally to go just next to Skye but stay on the mainland, however, we made it up there with enough time that we decided to just go over the bridge and onto the Isle itself. Having always wanted to go it seemed like the right thing to do.

We set off early in order to get a good sunrise shot on route...

As we drove up the coast and through all the mountain valleys we were amazed at how still the water was along the way. We hardly ever get such flat, calm water and the reflections where breath-taking!

The famous Eilean Donan Castle...

These 2 shots are actually a merge of a number of photographs into one large panorama, the only way to really show off the Scottish landscape.

By the time we hit Skye it was nearly sunset so instead of exploring we headed to a point on the hills where we could watch the sun sink into the sea...

We will certainly be back in Skye soon!

Keep up to date with my photography on Twitter, Flickr and be sure to check out my website!
