Outfit of the Week - Carhartt WIP, Obey, Patagonia, Saucony
This week's look will banish the January blue with it's thick layers of comfy and beautifully textural materials along with weather protective outerwear.
Starting of the look is Patagonia's Better Sweat 3-in-1 Jacket in classic black. Aesthetically pleasing thanks to straight lines and minimal detailing on the outer layer it features two inner layers for warmth and comfort. The outer 2-layers are made from a polyester shell which is both breathable and waterproof while inside you will find a zip-out sweater fleece for further warmth in this unceasing January weather. We have paired the jacket with Carhartt's Western II Cord Pant which adds both a much needed hint of colour and an interesting texture to the mix. The cut is a classic straight fit which compliments the lines on the outerwear. Compliment the colour of the cords and keep the look contemporary by pairing with Obey's Premier Beanie in burnt orange. The marled yarn knit adds another textural element to the look while the simple branding label to the front looks super sleek and stylish.
Pulling the look together is the black Shadow 6000 from Saucony's Irish Coffee pack. The pack ,which just dropped last month, consists of three shoes in Saucony's iconic Shadow 6000 silhouette. The colourway of each model in the pack are inspired by the key elements required to brew Irish blend: coffee, whiskey and cream. This model is inspired by the black coffee and comes in this beautiful minimal colourway. The theme continues through to the creamily soft suede uppers which sit atop a crisp white mid-sole with durable gum outsole. The understated clean aesthetic is only broken up by textural overlays and perforated details at the side panels and toe box.
