Outfit of the week - Carhartt, Clarks, Edwin, Nixon

This week's outfit grid features clean silhouettes and subtle detailing for an understated everyday look.
Starting off the look is this Adams Bomber Jacket from Carhartt WIP in classic black; this universally flattering jacket shape looks great layered over a t-shirt or shirt. We have used Edwin's monochrome striped Marvin T-shirt for this look as a thick stripe (like this one) or Breton strip t-shirt always makes an outfit more chic. For this look we have used a rainbow selvedge from Japanese denim imprint Edwin, however any denim looks good with this accessible look so you pair this outfit with whatever denim you feel comfortable in. For footwear we have gone with a stable in Clarks' Desert Boot. These boots smarten up the aesthetic but are still practical for everyday use. Rounding off the outfit is this beautiful timepiece from Nixon with a complimentary brown leather strap and this premium leather belt from Edwin.

Carhartt Adams Jacket - Black

The Adams Jacket from Carhartt WIP is a new addition to the workwear giants for SS16 and is built from lightweight 100% cotton. The well crafted jacket benefits from a lined interior plus dual pockets located both inside and out of the Adams for increased practicality. A zipped pocket can be found located on the sleeve of the jacket while the Adams also includes ribbed cuffs, collar and hem and is finished off with subtle branding on the exterior pocket.

 

Edwin Jeans Marvin T-shirt - White/Black 

New from Edwin this AW is the Marvin Tee in Black stripe. A regular fit short sleeved tee with ribbed crew neck which features wide Black and white stripes, chest pocket and woven Edwin label to the side.

Edwin Jeans Meriweather Fine Belt Leather - Brown
The Meriweather Belt in Brown from Edwin is a leather belt which features a intricate braided design as well as contrast white stitching and metal buckle. This belt is made in England.

Nixon C45 Leather Watch - Gray/Rose Gold
 The C45 watch from Nixon is a traditional time piece built using contemporary methods. The C45 is made from an accurate Swiss 3 hand movement, domed anti glare crystal and quality indices, all brought together in a solid build. The Desert boot from Clarks is the classic boot that many brands try to imitate, without much success, Clarks have been making the Desert Boot since before we were born and it still looks better than it ever did, the addition of the Black Suede makes this boot a winner from Clarks.
