Outfit of the Week - Carhartt WIP, Nike

This week's outfit grid is filled with classic silhouettes and a muted colour palette of navy and white.

Starting off the look is the Penn Jacket from S/S16 Carhartt WIP, a classic Coach Style jacket with college print typography to the left chest. Keep the look understated by layering the jacket over a plain white t-shirt. We have used Carhartt's Base T-shirt which is constructed from a premium durable cotton and has a classic hemmed shape. We've teamed this look with another piece from Carhartt, their Rebel Pant. These denims feature a slim cut and are made with a light and nimble denim; which is great for the summer months.

For footwear we have used one of Nike's original runner silhouettes, the Cortez, in this sharp Navy/White colourway. Formerly known as the Tiger Corsair the lightweight runner stays close to it's original shape which remains a true timeless classic. This premium edition stays close to the original and is constructed from flexible nylon the length of the upper with contrasting white swoosh branding and heel tab. Adding another hit of colour, blue can be found on the midsole while the retro feel is carried through to the oxidised original angle cut outsole.

Carhartt Penn Jacket - Blue

The latest instalment from Carhartt includes the Penn coach jacket which is mesh lined and features adjustable cuffs as well as a drawstring waistband. The jacket has snap buttons on the front and a branded patch on the chest.

Carhartt S/S Base T-shirt - White 

Surprisingly it can be quite difficult to get a plain t-shirt right but as usual Carhartt have it covered in the form of the Base tee. Made from a soft jersey cotton, the Base tee delivers a premium wardrobe staple that won't warp or contort when washed. Subtle Carhartt branding can be found printed near the hem.

Carhartt Rebel Pant - Blue Rinsed (Colfax Denim) 

The Rebel pant is built from a tough but nimble 9.5oz denim and consists of 2% elastene for a more adaptable fit. The Carhartt denim is slim fitting and low waisted and features reinforced stitiching at key stress areas for durability. Leather branding can be found at the rear of the jean as well as a button up fly.
