Outfit of the Week - Adidas, Carhartt WIP, Nixon

This week's outfit grid is a minimal structured look with pieces from the first drop of Carhartt WIP's Autumn/Winter 2016 collection; along with understated yet elegant accessories and footwear from Nixon and Adidas respectively.

 This look is based around one of our favourite pieces to drop from Carhartt WIP's Autumn/Winter 2016 collection, the Robie Stripe T-shirt. This fashion forward piece from the streetwear brand brings to mind motifs seen in high end brands such as Comme De Garcons and Norse Projects past seasons thanks to it's classic Breton stripe and understated contrasting red Carhartt WIP branding to the chest. The sizing on this t-shirt goes more towards the larger side, so take that into account when deciding on your look. Over the t-shirt we have layered with an iconic workwear piece, Carhartt's Tony Shirt. Wear as an overshirt for a modern take on a tailored look. We have again selected from Carhartt WIP for the bottoms and used their new Leyton Selvage denim. This reasonably priced selvage denim feature a relaxed straight fit with a low waist which compliments the structure of this look. The denim are finished with a slick Selvage turn-up. For footwear we have selected Adidas's Court Vantage, a shoe that has made an appearance in our outfit grids more than once. This clean silhouette looks great with almost any outfit and particularly compliments this paired back look. Balance the look with a time piece like this Nixon Sentry SS Watch with a matching blue dial.

Hottie of the Week - Yvonne Strahovski

So once again I've decided to resurrect our Hottie of the Week posts (although they should probably be more hottie of the month!) This week goes to a sexy Australian with a Polish name...Yvonne Strahovski! Currently starring in the final season of one of my favourite shows, Chuck, in America you may have also seen her in last years film Killer Elite with Jason Statham, Robert De Niro and Clive Owen. Or you may have heard her as a voice in the Mass Effect video Game Series Anyways I'll let the pictures do the talking!
