One of our favourite books here at Fat Buddha Store has to be Upper Playgrounds - 10 Years Of T-Shirt Graphics . The book shows, well, exactly what the title says the last ten years of t-shirt graphics by San Fransisco’s finest street culture shop & clothing line, Upper Playground. Rad Rides has to be one of the greatest books we've seen on BMX and it's in store now at Fat Buddha Store . BMX bikes are iconic, theres something about them that appeals to kids, adults and cyclists. And, of course, BMX has now become an Olympic sport. Rad Rides is the most in-depth exploration of the world of BMX bikes through their riders and the culture that surrounds them. The introduction explains the birth of BMX culture and where it is now, while the main body features bikes ranging from those that are well-worn through years of riding to beautiful, sculptural works of art gleaming, built-but-never-ridden keepsakes. We have just had a re-stock of one of our favourite books here at Fat Buddha Store, the great One Gear . As a street culture store we here at Fat Buddha are very excited about the launch of All Gone 2011.  All Gone is a series of books that are released every year to celebrate the best of street culture from that year. All Gone 2011 The books are compiled by fashion consultant agency La MJC and showcase the coolest streetwear releases and must have products of 2011.  For more info on La MJC Check out Michael from La MJC's blog here its always pretty interesting. Previous All Gone Books The 6th edition of the book will be released in limited quantities on the 21st January and for the first time comes in two limited edition leopard print covers.  The leopard print acting as a symbol for fashion in 2011. We've done books for so long now, and with such a big selection of publications from all sorts of art and design, music and sport it was about time that we got some  interesting periodicals in stock too! Tomorrow I go down south to the annual Brighton Tattoo Convention. Working non-stop i'm really looking forward to it. The event is usually a good laugh whether you're getting tattooed or not, and one of my best mates owns his own shop so it will be good to go see him. I am going along to see one of my favourite metal bands tonight in the Garage , All That Remains  and I am fairly excited. It got me thinking about music and how every one of the Fat Buddha staff has such a different taste in music. Between us all I think it's safe to say we like every kind there is! (Except maybe country music...) This is a good thing, it keeps the genres and new bands on the playlist nice a varied. So I had a little wander round the store to see if we sell any music related products and found more than I thought I would! We have the cool KISS t-shirt from Popularity Bear and the MTV styled Carhartt t-shirt too. I also found a few music books and gadgets ...  Lastly, we have our quality range of Urbanears and Zumreed headphones , essential wear for everyone these days... At Fat Buddha we all love the movies, who doesn't really? I just got my hands on one of those unlimited cards and have been making good use of it so I wanted to let you know of a few good films to see and to look out for! Out now is the utterly terrifying Paranormal Activity 2 and the stupid but hilarious Jackass 3D... I went to see Paranormal Activity 2 at the midnight showing on Halloween and I can safely say it is the scariest movie I have ever seen. I am sure there will be a few people who moan about it being filmed on security cameras and thats what makes it scary! I dare anyone not to jump at least once during the film... I jumped so hard at one bit I made a 'ooOOAAaaaww' sort of face! People walked out, my girlfriend looked as though she was going to be sick and didn't sleep at all... Excellent! Jackass is what it is and if you don't like it, seeing it in 3D won't make you like it more. However, if you DO like it, you are going to love the 3D mad...
