La Cheetah will be celebrating their 7th birthday (Part 2) tonight with special guests Tiger & Woods and Dixon Avenue Basement Jams . For those who missed Part 1, one of the best parties of the year, tonight will see 5 hours of amazing music provided by some of the best DJ's around. Open until 4am Tiger & Woods and Dixon Avenue Basement Jams will be on downstairs from start to finish with our very on Craig Moog providing tunes upstairs. Get down for the start and stay till then end!

This Saturday Harri & Domenic are delighted that Miss Honey Dijon is joining them once again for another generous and jacking Subculture jam down. The Chi town native plays some of the freshest parties in the world, from the Panorama Bar to A Club Called Rhonda, all the while seducing the masses with her unique mix of disco, house and techno. Glasgow has long been a city with more sneakerheads than a city with it's population should so we are thrilled that Sole Bloc , Scotland's first and only true sneaker event, will be opening it's door on August 1st. The Sole Bloc Sneaker Festival will take place at the SWG3 in Glasgow's west end on Saturday, August 1 from 11am. For those not in the know SWG3 , a former Glasgow Custom & Excise tobacco bond, has garnered a reputation as one of the premier spaces in Glasgow for live music, fashions shows and media performances and will serve as the ideal backdrop for the festival. SWG3 The event, a showcase of all things sneaker, will feature a mixture of private sellers, retailers and stalls from several premium brands. Sound wise think, Disco, Italo, House, Re-Edits, Cosmic, Electronic, Balearic, Psychedelic, Funk, Boogie and everything else in between. The Berkeley Suite has been renowned for it's great great bookings since opening it's doors a while back with guests such as Dan Avery (Phantasy), Prins Thomas (Full Pupp), Thomas Bullock (Rub'n'Tug), Optimo, Derrick Carter, Horse Meat Disco, Cosmo Vitelli, Pete Herbert & Dicky Trisco (Disco Deviance), the list continues...rolling through the place and Andrew Weatherall & Sean Johnston holding down a residency there with their brilliant 'A Love From Outer Space' club night. New club night On The Quiet makes it's debut tonight (Saturday 15th Feb) at Max's La Cheetah Club on Queens St in Glasgow, and brings along The Revenge (Roar Groove) and Ali Ooft (Foto Recordings) to kick things off alongside residents Craig Moog and Kev Stevens. As one half of the 6th Borough Project, Graeme Clark aka The Revenge is a producer who understands the past but embraces the future. The analogue approach, forward thinking productions and his versatility as a DJ, has ensured him a place as one of the leading names in House music in recent years. The main force behind OOFT Music is Ali Herron. Originally cutting his production chops with tracky edits and some early OOFT! remixes alongside The Revenge, Ali has been steadily building up his own studio over the last 5 years, putting out a series of deep, pitched-down house tracks on labels such as Instruments of Rapture, PPF, Delusions of Grandeur, Rememory,Wolf Music and his own Foto Recordings label...

In association with our good friends at the worldly renowned Sub Club in Glasgow and DJ Rebecca Vasmant we are pleased to be setting up a Fat Buddha Pop Up Sale Store during Sat 1st June alongside the record Fair, all housed under the roof of the Sub Club. The record fair looks to be great with a number of local vendors exhibiting. This is set to be a treasure trove for vinyl fiends and with a selection of local DJ’s soundtracking the goings on. This is already promising to turn into an unmissable hangout for the cities regular revelers. Bringing together local labels who will be selling their wares, and individuals peddling second hand records, t hink along the lines of an Independent Label Market meets your favorite second hand record shop.  In brief, this is pretty much the best way we can think of to while away a Saturday afternoon. Horse Meat Disco make a welcome return to Glasgow's great disco den The Berkeley Suite tomorrow night (Saturday 27th April), and if previous experience is anything to go by, then it's set to be outstanding. Another weekend and another fantastic gig at The Berkeley Suite in Glasgow. Tonight (Friday 8th March) Justin Robertson (Deadstock 33s) mans the turntables at one of Glasgow's greatest club spaces for a night of electronic sounds and twisted disco. Justin Robertson's career in dance music dates all the way back to the Madchester days when he was spinning at clubs like Spice and Most Excellent, often frequented by two lads called Tom and Ed who would later become The Chemical Brothers. Now based in London, Robertson fulfills roles as DJ, producer and lead singer of band Thee Earls. As a DJ, Justin wears several hats besides the naff one on his head. Regulars to London nights Bugged Out and Together will be familiar with his mixture of ravey acid techno and electronic house while those who frequent Gay Mod and Sunday Best will know him for his eclectic sets of reggae, northern soul and pop. Some of our favourite parties of last year at Fat Buddha Store has to be some of the Electric Frog events, which have seen guests such as Jeff Mills, Moodyman, Felix Da Housecat, Floating Points, Auntie Flo and much more. As a way of thanking everyone who came along to the parties in 2012, they are throwing a free party for everyone on 26th January at SWG3. Things kick off at 8pm and you're all invited! This Saturday see's the joining of forces between legendary Sub Club and Glasgow's best streetwear store Fat Buddha Store .   Sub Club have been an institution on the Glasgow club scene for the past 25 years and have played host to some of the worlds hottest dance acts and club nights.   On Saturday night Sub Club's Subculture event plays host to The Revenge and Ali Ooft alongside resident DJ's Harri and Domenic. The Revenge has been producing music for the best part of 15 years and is involved in a multitude of different projects both in the studio and his recent live tour which has seen him travel across the world.     He will be joined on the night by Ali, the mastermind behind Ooft Music, Foto Recordings, Midnight Marauders and much more.
