Going Out: Long Live Love w/ Rustie, S-Type, Mogwai (DJ) & more...
Tonight Long Live Love are throwing one major party to raise money and help pay for Stuart Nixon’s medical bills.
They’ll be kicking off festivities downstairs at SWG3 from 7pm with Glasgow's finest street food caterers Babu Bombay Street Kitchen, Julie's Kopitiam and SMOAK serving up their hot selections. They'll also have cheap beers and Bramble cocktails alongside House Martin barbers offering fresh cuts. All this whilst Burke and Mogwai spin their favorite records.
During the street food festivities they'll be hosting a Tombola competition to win quality merchandise from Mogwai, Idlewild, Django Django, LuckyME as well as some Long Live Love t-shirts designed by Paul Hempstead.
10 - 2am we'll take the party upstairs with:
Rustie
S-Type
Sam Vitamins
Inkke
DJ Milktray
So far Stuart’s family have raised over 16 grand and been blown away by people’s generosity and compassion and the sense of community that exists in Scotland and further afield that has made this possible.
Unfortunately it still isn’t even half the total costs and they need another push to help as much as they can.
If you want to come down, have a beer and a burger, a dance and a chat and show your support whilst seeing some of Glasgow’s best talents, this is the chance to do just that.
