Outfit of the Week - Carhartt WIP, Nike SB

This week's outfit grid is sharp, classic and timeless filled with liner shapes, subtle detailing and a neutral colour palette.

The Carhartt WIP Michigan Chore Coat from their Autumn/Winter 15 collection makes another cheeky appearance this week this time in dark navy. One of our favourites jackets it features gold buttons, a paired down corduroy top collar and is finished off with a woven branding box to the left chest pocket. Keeping the look chic we have avoided overly fussy detailing and layered the jacket over Carhartt's classic plain white base t-shirt. For trousers we have selected the Dander Pant, also from Carhartt. The Dander pant is regular slightly tapered fit combined with a low crotch which can be rolled up for added style points.

For footwear we have choose another classic silhouette, the Stefan Janoksi, in complimentary Dark Obsidian. The low profile canvas uppers are fused to the rubber outsole using autoclave construction for a clean, streamlined finish.  Our favourite item from this week's look is the Carhartt Watch Back in Damo Duck. The bold pattern adds an interesting element without being overpowering while the colours tie in with the jacket, shoes and trousers.

Carhartt Watch Backpack - Camo Duck

This stylish and practical backpack comes from the stalwart of streetwear Carhartt WIP. The medium sized bag has a 17.8l capacity in it's main compartment and a smaller front zip-fastened pocket. Designed with comfort and functionality in mind it has padded back and adjustable shoulder straps in mesh. Stylistically this bag is given a premium feel with canvas straps and carry handle along with minimalist branding.

The Carhartt Watch Bag is available in several colour options. 

Carhartt Michigan Chore Coat - Dark Navy

From Carhartt WIP comes this Michigan Chore Coat a slightly more heavy weight jacket for the colder months. Coming in dark navy with gold buttons it features a paired down corduroy top collar and is finished off with a woven branding box to the left chest pocket.

Carhartt S/S Base T-shirt - White

 Surprisingly it can be quite difficult to get a plain t-shirt right but as usual Carhartt have it covered in the form of the Base tee. Made from a soft jersey cotton, the Base tee delivers a premium wardrobe staple that won't warp or contort when washed. Subtle Carhartt branding can be found printed near the hem.

 Carhartt Dander Pant - Leather

The Dander Pant from Carhartt is made from a tough yet lightweight cotton/polyester blend and has a slightly tapered fit combined with a low crotch. The Dander features reinforced key stress areas for increased longevity and a zip fly. A square label found at the rear finishes off the pant off. 

Nike SB Stefan Janoski Shoes - Obsidian (Canvas)

Summer 2015 sees the release of a new colour option of the classic Stefan Janoski shoe from Nike SB. Shown in Obsidian this tough skate shoe features low profile canvas uppers fused to the rubber outsole using autoclave construction for a clean, streamlined finish.
