Outfit of the Week - Carhartt WIP, Wood Wood, Lacoste Live, Converse

This week's outfit grid is an effortlessly stylish all grey look with minimal detailing, classic clean cuts and a mixture of textures.

To start this look we have selected the beautiful Shetland wool Kevin Jumper from Wood Wood's Autumn/Winter collection and layered it over a classic white tee which should be worn slightly longer to allow hits of the colour to show through and break up the monochrome grey. Keeping this look ultra modern and stylish we have added the slim fitting grey trousers from Lacoste Live, wear these trousers rolled up or pin rolled to keep the look contemporary.

This look being for winter we have added the Todd Wool Scarf from Wood Wood and the updated Carhartt Watch hat from their 25th Anniversary Capsule collection. The lighter grey colour on the scarf compliments that featured on the shoes and breaks up the grey without losing the chic monochrome effect. We selected white for the beanie as this remains neutral but again breaks up the greys used throughout and pulls together the hits of white seen in the tee and the box logo branding.

Finishing the look is the beautiful suede edition of Converse's iconic Jack Purcell Ox in this sleek grey 'dolphin' colourway. Constructed from a premium yet hard wearing suede it features prototypical JP features such as defined stitching, vulcanised rubber outsole and rubber toecap.

Wood Wood Kevin Jumper - Pepper Grey

From Wood Wood's Autumn/Winter 2015 collection comes the beautiful Kevin Jumper. Constructed from fine Shetland wool that gives a warm yet elegant look. A classic paired back design sees  a rounded neck, bottom hem and long raglan sleeves. A minimalist W.W. work wear label is found just above the hem on the left hand side.

Carhartt S/S Base T-shirt - White 

Surprisingly it can be quite difficult to get a plain t-shirt right but as usual Carhartt have it covered in the form of the Base tee. Made from a soft jersey cotton, the Base tee delivers a premium wardrobe staple that won't warp or contort when washed. Subtle Carhartt branding can be found printed near the hem.

Lacoste Live Slim Fit Trousers - China Stone Grey Marl 

From Lacoste comes these classic slim fit trousers in china stone grey marl. These trousers can be worn or dressed down for a stylish look and feature two slit pockets in the front and 1 back pocket. The look is finished off with Lacoste's iconic embroidered crocodile branding.

Wood Wood Todd Wool Scarf - Light Grey

Carhartt XXV Watch Hat - White 

To celebrate the 25 years that have passed since Edwin Faeh founded the European ‘Work in Progress” arm of American streetwear stalwart Carhartt, the brand have released a special limited edition ’XXV Anniversary’ capsule collection. Each garment in the collection has been crafted with the same care, attention to detail and quality as all their products over the past 25 years.
