Outfit of the Week - Carhartt WIP, Lacoste Live, New Balance, Nixon, Wood Wood

This weeks outfit grid is a clean Winter-centric look characterised with an effortlessly minimal aesthetic.

The main attraction of this look is the quilted grey Lacoste Live Down Padded Jacket. Blending down and feathers for both warmth and comfort it's subtle styling and sleek grey colour add a modern, graphic touch to the look. Under the jacket we have used the lightweight, shetland wool, understated knitted sweater from scadanvian brand Wood Wood which itself we've layered over a plain white t-shirt from Carhartt WIP.  Keeping the lines clean we have used Carhartt WIP's slim fitting Sid Pants in complimentary navy, the slimmer fitting silhouette on the bottoms balances out the top heavy upper layers.

We have used New Balance's U430SKG for the footwear in this look as the icy navy and grey colourway ties in with the overall look; we also love how the slightly padded grey textile inserts compliment the textured of the down jacket. We've kept the assesories simple and understaded with Wood Wood Todd Wool Scarf in navy and the beauitufl Nixon 51-30 Chrono Watch also in navy.

Lacoste Live Down Padded Jacket - Stone Grey

Wood Wood Kevin Jumper - Pepper Grey 

From Wood Wood's Autumn/Winter 2015 collection comes the beautiful Kevin Jumper. Constructed from fine Shetland wool that gives a warm yet elegant look. A classic paired back design sees  a rounded neck, bottom hem and long raglan sleeves. A minimalist W.W. work wear label is found just above the hem on the left hand side. Carhartt S/S Base T-shirt - White

 Surprisingly it can be quite difficult to get a plain t-shirt right but as usual Carhartt have it covered in the form of the Base tee. Made from a soft jersey cotton, the Base tee delivers a premium wardrobe staple that won't warp or contort when washed. Subtle Carhartt branding can be found printed near the hem.

Carhartt Sid Pant - Duke Blue 

The Sid Pant from Carhartt returns for SS15 unchanged in appearance but with the additional T400 fabric blend which allows for further maneuverability and increased comfort. Apart from this subtle change the Sid Pant is still a slim fitting, low waisted chino with Bartack stitching for durability. Finishing the garment off is a square stitched Carhartt label found at the rear pocket.

Wood Wood Todd Wool Scarf - Navy Blue

The Todd Wool Scarf from Wood Wood is a perfect example of the minimalist Scandinavian design the brand is known for. Finished off with fringe detailing and a subtle woven logo tab this will keep you stylish and warm this winter. Made of 100% fine lambs wool in Scotland.

 New Balance U430SKG Shoes - Black/Grey/Blue

A slightly narrower silhouette from New Balance the U430 was original released as a distance runner. This model is constructed from pigskin and mesh uppers with the signature leather 'N' branding to the side. The look is finished off with a dual tone midsole and rubber outsole.
