Our choice for this weeks outfit grid is the perfect daytime look to take you effortlessly from winter to spring. A paired down subtle aesthetic sees clean lines, classic silhouettes and a neutral colour palette of blues and creams. This week's selection features brand favorites from Wood Wood, Carhartt and Vans and will keep you looking fly whether your going to Uni, shopping or just out and about in town.
Carhartt Campbell Jacket - Colony/Safari
As a base to the look we started with the Campbell Jacket, in Colony/Safari, which is fresh from Carhartt's spring/summer 2015 collection. True to their workwear roots the
quality is top notch with the jacket constructed of a 65/35%
polyester/cotton Poplin. We selected this jacket, the perfect spring jacket, as its
lightweight and thanks to the materials and the addition of an
adjustable hood it is able to keep us dry during those spring showers. As ever
with Carhartt the devil is in the details with contrasting striped
rib-knit cuffs, bottom band and a beautiful all over printed lining
which is reminiscent of the Carhartt Heritage range from a while back.
Wood Wood Rick Bag - Midnight Navy
We've kept this a practical daytime look with the edition of a bag so the look can be adapted for several different occasions. Keeping the lines clean we selected the Rick Bag from Wood Wood's Autumn/Winter 2014 "Heroes" Collection in midnight navy. This multipurpose bag can be carried over the shoulder or as a messenger bag and contains interior laptop storage, an exterior zip pocket, sturdy zip closure and leather reinforced canvas detachable straps finished off with woven. The minimal look is finished off with Wood Wood box logo branding.
Carhartt Dander Pant - Duke Blue
For trousers we have stuck to a classic shape with the Dander pant in complimenting Duke Blue. The cut on these chinos is slightly tapered and they are constructed of a cotton/polyester blend with a low crotch for unrestricted movement. The Dander benefits from Bartack stitching across key stress areas is complimented by a stitched square Carhartt logo on the reverse pocket.
Vans Era CA - True White (Vansguard)
Pulling the look together is one of the cleanest shoes we have seen in a while, the Vans Era Ca in True White (Vansguard). Just dropped from Vans it is a beautiful reissue of their classic Era CA low top skate shoe. The shoe is constructed of premium materials such as cream dyed premium cow suede and off-white 10 oz. duck canvas. Subtle detailing adds to the look with off-white woven laces and a crisp white rubber sole.
