Sogo Magazine - Fat Buddha Store - Glasgow

Adding to our burgeoning magazine collection is Sogo a Scottish based quarterly lifestyle and arts publication. We're already loving this magazine because it fosters the creative industries and communities in Scotland by bringing together a plethora of Scottish talent.

The first issue features Scottish journalist and broadcaster Stuart Cosgrove talking to contributor Gus Ironside about the similarities between Glasgow and Detroit before giving an exclusive extract from his new book Detroit 67. Brian McFie, who created the art on the front cover, also showcases a series of pastels of iconic Glasgow landmarks in this issue while photographer Adrian Barry shows beautiful street scapes of New York city and Mark Hamilton shares a glimpse of the much-missed GSofA. For design enthusiasts Barry Young looks at the relationship between a Scottish typographer and his German mentor. This magazine also covers Scotland's stellar music scene looking at how Edinburgh is closing in on it's musical rival Glasgow through the output of Stereogram records.

This issue features loads more stunning photography and informed pieces and is available to pick up free in store now.
