Outfit of the Week - Lacoste Live, Nike, Ray-Ban, Carhartt WIP

Sometimes when the weather becomes clammy it's all too easy to sacrifice smartness for the sake of comfort... but it need not be this way. This week we look at how to dress up a pair of shorts to still look smart while keeping yourself cool. This week features a colour palette predominantly made up of that ideal summer colour white, broken up with hints of navy.

One of the easy ways to smarten up a pair of shirts is to pair it with some quality shirting, this white cotton shirt from Lacoste is light enough to keep you cool. This plain long-sleeved shirt provides a versatile wardrobe staple consisting of a light cotton build. The shirt is slim fitting in size and includes adjustable cuffs plus a button down collar for a classic look.

One of our personal favorites from Carhartt's S/S 2015 collection is the smart Johnson Bermuda Short in Deep Night / Broken White. The cut is regular with a low waist and these are a great option for both smart and casual outfits.

It can be tricky to pull off trainers and still look smart but thanks to a squared off silhouette and an all white colourway these Nike Air Max 90s do the job. As part of Nike's 2015 spring/summer "Triple White & Gum" pack they have released one of the greatest silhouettes of all time, the Air Max 90. The iconic shoe is revamped with a clean white upper and gum sole styling motif. This edition ticks many boxes thanks to a solid premium material mix on the uppers, including white ostrich leather. The uppers sit atop a rubber midsole which has been finished off with a colored light brown bottom sole.

Another sure why to smarten up a look is to accessories. The clubmaster has been the epitome of style for generations and that top green havana / grey green will certainly dress up your outfit.

All the products features in this week's outfit of the week are available in store and online now.
