Store Look - Autumn/Winter 2015

With the colder months around the corner we present a heavily layered textural store look with key pieces from our Autumn/Winter 2015 range. We have created three distinct looks which blend our brand’s mix of fashion, streetwear and athleticwear aesthetics. The perfect seasonal colour pallet of sleek greys and contemporary blues imbues each look.

Our first look takes reference from 80’s street and sportswear imagery, reworking collegiate and preppy styling for a modern and wearable look. This look features a colour palette of muted greys, whites and blacks with lean fitting trousers mixed up with top heavy silhouettes for a contemporary layered look.

For this look we have used an oversized quilted jacket from Lacoste Live layered over the woollen Kevin Jumper and a long sleeved Carhartt base t-shirt. This blend of materials and textures keeps the look modern. The slim fitting trousers also come from Lacoste's Autumn/Winter 2015 collection and are the perfect mix of casual and smart; ideal for this look.

This look has been teamed with the on trend shoe of the summer; Adidas's Stan Smith. Since the shoe's reissue in 2014 after two years off the shelves, its popularity and fashion significance have reached icon status. The linear silhouette compliments almost any outfit but adds a subtle nod to the 80's sports-lux aesthetic of the overall look.

Scarfs and gloves from Wood Wood complete the look.

The second look is a tailored streetwear aesthetic which effortlessly blends function and style. While this looks is evidently practical for everyday use, premium materials and exquisite detailing elevate it to another level.

This look embraces textural winter fabrics such as cotton, cotton canvas and wool in a range of muted colours. Key winter pieces with linear silhouettes such as this check flannel shirt from Edwin and the thicker seasonal edition of Carhartt WIP's Chore Coat are layered for a fresh take on a traditional look. The beautiful Filson Zip Tote Bag is not only stylish but offers resiliently sophisticated construction for everyday use.

For footwear we have teamed this look with the latest edition of Converse's Chuck Taylor 70s Hi Boots in this subtle 'Wild Dove' grey. In keeping with the concept of this look, which combines recognisable silhouette with fine detailing, this edition of the Chuck Taylor gets the premium treatment with higher rubber foxing, a lot more cushioning on the footbed and a more defined toe box. Prototypical classic Converse details such as the signature license plate to the heel and it's pronounced stitching are still retained.

Textural dark navy cords from Carhartt WIP and a rich wool scarf from Wood Wood complete the look.

The third look has a heritage American style with an effortlessly cool contemporary edge with pieces from classic US brands Filson, Carhartt WIP and Patagonia.

Featuring a range of premium and durable materials that the brands have employed for generations– including Filson's tin cloth on the jacket and Patagonia's heavy-duty flannel on the shirt. The use of classic textural materials is carried through on the Carhartt bottoms which are made in corduroy and come in a regular straight fit that we have heavily rolled up for this look, giving a modern edge. Carhartt's iconic watch hat brings the look bang up to date.

The vintage vibe carries through to the trainers with Converse's iconic Chuck Taylor 70s being selected for the look. The classic 70s silhouette - like the rest of the look - is updated for modern tastes and has modern luxury leather and tonal waxed laces.
