Outfit of the Week - Carhartt WIP, Nike, Obey

We're channelling an Autumn vibe in this week's outfit grid thanks to a colour palette of earthy shades with hues of orange, green and brown. This look also features heavy layering, comfy lining and use of thicker materials such as cotton to take us into the colder months. Leather accents smartned and tie together the entire look.

We started off the look around Obey's Connor Woven Check Shirt, a classic style plaid shirt which is the perfect Autumn wardrobe staple. The shirt is durable and constructed from a thick comfy cotton, the styling is minimal with two simple chest pockets so the plaid is not overpowering. Keeping the look classic we have paired the shirt with the traditional Obey parka style Hillman Jacket. Coming in a complimentary hue of greenish brown it again feature minimal subtle detailing and is finished off with a simple box logo branding tab. This jacket is designed for the colder weather and features adjustable cuffs and hood, water repellent interior coating and snap down welt pockets. The combination of the jacket layered over the shirt creates a sturdier silhouette for Autumn.

For bottoms we have selected the new Colusa denim edition of Carhartt's Rebel Pant, from their Autumn/Winter collection. The cut on these is slim which makes a nice counter balance to the sturdier top layered profile. We suggest a slight turn up when wearing the denims with this look for extra style points. The box logo branding on the denims add an extra tie in to the branding tab on the jacket for eagle eyed stylers. We've kept the accessories to a minimal and simply added a practical leather belt in a orange colour and leather material which compliment the overall aesthetic.

Furthering this modern take on a classic look is the shoes. We have used Nike's just released version of their OG 80's silhouette, the Air Pegasus 89'. Coming in an icy grey and teal colourway they form a nice counter point to the earth tones used in the rest of the look.

Obey Clothing Hillman Jacket - Dull Army

New from Obey for Autumn/Winter is the Hilman Jacket, shown here in Dull Army. This traditional regular fit parka features a small branding label to the chest. Constructed from polyester the jacket features adjustable cuffs and hood, water repellent interior coating and snap down welt pockets.

Carhartt Rebel Pant - Blue Rigid (Colusa Denim) 

The Rebel pant is built from a tough but nimble 9.5oz denim and consists of 2% elastene for a more adaptable fit. The Carhartt WIP denim is slim fitting and low waisted and features reinforced stitiching at key stress areas for durability. Leather branding can be found at the rear of the jean as well as a button up fly.

Carhartt Script Leather Belt - Orange 

The Carhartt Script Belt is crafted in Italy from fine cow leather. Shown here in Carhartt Orange it features script debossing to the leather and is finished off with a nickle-free metal buckle.

Nike Air Pegasus 89 Shoes - Lunar Grey/Teal

Nike's classic retro runner, the Air Pegasus '89, makes a welcome return in this lunar grey/teal colourway. Staying true to the original 80's construction it is made from soft suede with nylon meshing. Teal adorns the outsole and swoosh branding with crisp white covering the midsole.
