Outfit of the Week - Carhartt, Converse, Obey, Wood Wood

This week's outfit grid takes pieces from Wood Wood's Spring/Summer 2016 collection and combines them with stables from Carhartt WIP and Converse to create a streamlined workwear aesthetic.

For this look we have taken heavily from Wood Wood's S/S 2016 collection. The Kael Workwear Jacket from Wood Wood is a minimal American workwear inspired Coach Jacket with subtle detailing that will keep any purist happy while their Square Logo t-shirt in black/white continues the monochrome colour palette.

For bottoms we have used Carhartt's regular fitting skill pants in complimentary black which look great pin rolled or simply rolled up. For footwear we have used an old classic Converse's All Star. This heritage shoe looks great with almost any outfit and adds a classic American touch to this workwear look. Upping the ante we have added Wood Wood's sleek Military Watch, never underestimate how much watch ties a look together. Finally for accessories we have added Obey's beanie in orange with gives a much needed hint of colour to this otherwise monochrome look.

Hottie of the Week - Yvonne Strahovski

So once again I've decided to resurrect our Hottie of the Week posts (although they should probably be more hottie of the month!) This week goes to a sexy Australian with a Polish name...Yvonne Strahovski! Currently starring in the final season of one of my favourite shows, Chuck, in America you may have also seen her in last years film Killer Elite with Jason Statham, Robert De Niro and Clive Owen. Or you may have heard her as a voice in the Mass Effect video Game Series Anyways I'll let the pictures do the talking!
