Outfit of the Week - Carhartt, Clarks

This week's look comes from Carhartt WIP's S/S 2016 menswear line and consists of stripped back and re-built workwear silhouettes. A nod to classic workwear and sportswear can be seen throughout the pieces through the use of college script branding, camo prints, signature shapes and a colour palette of bold olives and yellow.

The most eye catching piece in this look is the College Left T-shirt thanks to it's bold oro yellow colour, seen heavily throughout S/S16 Carhartt, and striking typography to the sleeve. This t-shirt combines elements of sports wear such as script branding along with a classic long sleeved workwear shape; making it perfect for this look. Over the t-shirt we have layered with Carhartt's Adams Jacket in complimentary olive which again features a distinctly workwear shape along with sports inspired utilitarian detail most evident on the zip sleeve pocket.

Another bold addition to this look is the Carhartt Regular Cargo Pant in Camo Duck. These loose fitting pants features a camouflage print which looks great with this look. This look has been teamed with a Backley 5 Panel also from Carhartt and Clarks signature Wallabee boots.

Carhartt Adams Jacket - Leaf

The Adams Jacket from Carhartt WIP is a new addition to the workwear giants for SS16 and is built from lightweight 100% cotton. The well crafted jacket benefits from a lined interior plus dual pockets located both inside and out of the Adams for increased practicality. A zipped pocket can be found located on the sleeve of the jacket while the Adams also includes ribbed cuffs, collar and hem and is finished off with subtle branding on the exterior pocket.

Carhartt L/S College Left T-shirt - Oro/Black 

The L/S College Left T-Shirt comes from Carhartt WIP's Spring/Summer 2016 collection. Constructed from a single cotton jersey the regular fit long sleeved t-shirt features Carhartt block branding to the left sleeve.

Carhartt Regular Cargo Pant - Camo Duck 

The Regular Cargo Pant from Carhartt is back this season built with the same robust ripstop material as well as featuring a durable layered knee ideal for wearing during manual labour. The Cargo Pants are loose fitting meaning extra room for comfort and manoeuvrability.

Carhartt Backley 5 Panel Hat - Cotton Leaf

The Backley cap from Carhartt has a 100% cotton makeup and uses the classic 5 panel shape, adding a front woven C logo and metal eyelets. The Backley has an adjustable strapback rear allowing for one size fits most.

Clarks Originals Wallabee Shoes - Cola Suede

The Wallabee from Clarks is a great everyday shoe, very contemporary yet, old in years, the Wallabee from Clarks will lend itself to working with many different outfits, a great all round shoe.
