Outfit of the Week - Adidas, Carhartt WIP, Wood Wood

This sleek monochrome outfit grid comes curtsey of Wood Wood's and Carhartt WIP's Spring/Summer 2016 collection.

Basing off the look is one of our favourite pieces from Spring/Summer 2016, Carhartt WIP's Michigan Chore Coat in broken white. Fresh fabrics and a bold white colour have been utilized to modernize this workwear staple creating a refreshingly contemporary jacket. This jacket is made from a lighter material than was seen in Autumn/Winter's Michigan Chore coat's specifically for the warmer weather. In keeping with the monochrome look we have used Wood Wood's Timothy Shirt in navy with contrasting white W branding throughout. The dark blue of the shirt offsets the clean white outerwear for a bold look. For bottoms we have used Carhartt WIP's classic Skill Pant in complimentary navy, for extra style points wear them rolled up or pin rolled.

For footwear we have selected another classic, Adidas's Superstar 80s Gonzales. However any all white shoe like the Air Odyssey, Stan Smith, Chuck Taylor or Stan Smith Primeknit  looks great with this look. Pulling the look all together is the white Watch Hat from Carhartt WIP's 25th Anniversary capsule collection.

Carhartt Michigan Chore Coat - Broken White

From Carhartt WIP comes this Michigan Chore Coat a slightly more light weight jacket for the warmer months. Coming in clean white with matching buttons it features a paired down corduroy top collar and is finished off with a woven branding box to the left chest pocket.

Wood Wood L/S Timothy Shirt - AA Navy 

New for Spring/Summer 2016 from Wood Wood is this classic button down oxford shirt with allover A.A print. The Timothy Logo Shirt features fine and subtle detailing such as W.W. logo buttons and single breast pocket. Constructed from soft yet thick for warmth cotton it features a single button cuff and sleeve placket.

Carhartt Skill Pant - Dark Navy 

The Skill Pant from Carhartt WIP remains unchanged on their return this season besides a few additional colour options. Comprised of a cotton/polyester blend, the Skill Pant are a solid and rigorous every day pant reinforced with triple stitching around the seams and bar-tack stitching located at common stress points.

Carhartt XXV Watch Hat - White

To celebrate the 25 years that have passed since Edwin Faeh founded the European ‘Work in Progress” arm of American streetwear stalwart Carhartt, the brand have released a special limited edition ’XXV Anniversary’ capsule collection. Each garment in the collection has been crafted with the same care, attention to detail and quality as all their products over the past 25 years. The Watch Hat is an iconic classic from Carhartt WIP and has been for many years due to its simple appearance and solid acrylic build. Updated for the "25th Anniversary" collection it features an anniversary square label on the front and heart embroidered patch on back.

Adidas Originals Superstar 80s Gonzales Shoes - Wht/Wht 

The highly anticipated launch of the custom Adidas Superstar 80's from pro skater Mark Gonzales has finally arrived in store. Managing to cater for fans of both clean and trashed trainers, the Superstar serves as a blank canvas for the latter by encouraging a trashing through any means necessary as demonstrated by Mark himself. Vandalistic assets come in the form of 4 colour markers to get you started. For those who would prefer to keep their trainers in pristine condition, the Gonzales Superstar speaks volumes straight out the box with its subtle personalised embossing at the heel and tongue complimented by further Gonzales branding at the side wall and insole.
