Call for Artists - Method Furniture
Had an interesting visitor to the shop on Monday that our artistic followers should be very interested in....
Marisa from a company called Method Furniture has been working closely with friend of the shop and stencil whizz kid Klingatron, so when she asked him where the best place to find artists, graffiti artists, designers and illustrators he naturally told her to pop in and have a chat with us.
Her company produces high end furniture and they are currently looking to recruit some artists (from all disciplines) to collaborate with them on their hand crafted wooden cubes. Make no mistake, they are only after the best of the best, but are also hoping to discover some hot new talent to sit alongside some big names they're already in talks with.
If you think you've got what it takes to impress them, send some examples of your work or a link to your website to studio@methodfurniture.co.uk, and if you're good enough, your work may be appearing on one of their cubes in the not too distant future.

For anyone else who'd like to cube their artwork, Method Furniture are running a competition for people to design their own cube. With a chance to win the original Method vs Klingatron cube (worth £500!) pop into the shop and pick up an entry form or alternatively, make your own cube out of cardboard, wood, metal or even in your favourite software package then send it to mycube@methodfurniture.co.uk before 30th September to be in with a chance.
If you need any art supplies or sketchbooks to get the ideas flowing, you know where to go.
