Hundreds About The Hundreds

The Hundreds has always been one of my favourite brands in Fat Buddha. So today I went on a little mission to find out more about them. Till now I just thought they wear a company that makes amazing Tshirts but I was wrong... They go far deeper than that!

The Hundreds was founded in 2003 by Ben and Bowasbby Hundreds as a clothing line and online-magazine incorporating the trademark attitude and personal perspective they have on street culture. The Hundreds apparel is inspired by US lifestyle and culture, predominantly the Los Angeles and Californa states. With a heavy focus on Southern California’s skateboarding, surf, punk, and hip-hop cultures. The designs are also reminiscent of 1980s surf-culture t-shirts, independent skateboard company apparel of the 1990s, and the advent of “streetwear” at the end of the millennium. The line is comprised mainly of graphic t-shirts, denim, wovens, fleece, outerwear, headwear and accessories. Then in 2008, The Hundreds branched out and launched a range of shoes called The Hundreds Footware. Finally, in 2009, they introduced The Hundreds Eyeware.

The Hundreds also has collaborated on a number of projects with globally recognized brands such as Disney, SE BMX, DeLorean Motor Co., Forum Snowboards, Casio G-Shock, eS, Gravis and Medicom, As well as a number of individual artists and designers such as David Choe, Jun Cha, Tofer, Robbie Conal, Angelyne, H2O, Kurupt, Craola, Avail and Usugrow.

The Hundreds website is also a great blog! Check it out, it's full of cool videos, art and photography. They also have a few sub-blogs available down the right side of the page. Everyone knows I am into photography and they have one of the best photography blogs I have found in ages, ynot. Make sure to give that a good flick through, it is great!

Wait... Is that Usher on the NY storecam?!

I had a wee look through google and found a couple of cool The Hundreds images for you!

Lastly, I wanted to pick out a few of my favourite The Hundreds products that we sell here at Fat Buddha.

Hope you all had a great weekend!
