Going Out - Lil Louis
Well it's that time of the week again and it looks like it's Subculture at the Sub Club for us once more as they'll be hosting Chicago legend Lil Louis. Regarded as one of the founding fathers of house music Lil Louis has pioneered the way for Chicago House music, well known in the 80's for his massive club tune "French Kiss" and being one of the first house artists to release music on a major label.
With DJ sets that have known for being as versatile as his productions expect to be schooled on house music and to have a a great time. As ever Glasgow top dogs Harri and Dom will be supporting. This is not to be missed.
In the build up to tonight Lil Louis has also brought his House Music Museum, the worlds only "House Music Art Gallery and Mobile Museum". The exhibition is derived from a film project directed by Louis entitled "The House That Chicago Built"featuring a remarkable collection of house mousic memorabilia, artefacts, music and video installations.
