Best White Sneakers for Summer 2015

Following on from our popular post from last year and with spring faintly in the distance, we feel now's a good time to prepare for realistically the few dryer month were you can get out the sartorial favorite - the white sneaker. Simple, classic and versatile, it's an item every discerning man should consider an stable of their wardrobe and here we have selected some of our favorite picks for this year.

Nike SB Zoom Stefan Janoski - White

These days the Nike SB Stefan Janoski is almost as iconic as the man himself and one our favorite - and cleanest - editions is this all white.  Although designed for skateboarding, with traditional autoclave construction, these transfer perfectly from every day wear, a classic for dressing up or dressing down. This rendition of the massively popular skate silhouette sees a crisp white sole, white canvas uppers and is finished off with a white swoosh. All round a time-honored shape in a classic summer colour.

Adidas Originals Superstar 80s Gonzales Shoes - Wht/Wht

The highly anticipated launch of the custom Adidas Superstar 80's from pro skater Mark Gonzales has finally arrived in store. Managing to cater for fans of both clean and trashed trainers, the Superstar serves as a blank canvas for the latter by encouraging a trashing through any means necessary as demonstrated by Mark himself. Vandalistic assets come in the form of 4 colour markers to get you started. For those who would prefer to keep their trainers in pristine condition, the Gonzales Superstar speaks volumes straight out the box with its subtle personalised embossing at the heel and tongue complimented by further Gonzales branding at the side wall and insole.

Converse All Star Hi - Optic White

We couldn't mention white trainers without the inclusion of the timeless Converse All Star, we have selected the classic Hi shape in Optic White. Constructed of Canvas on the uppers with a rubber toe box and outsole the look is finished off with Converse's iconic Star patch branding. This shoe goes with anything and should be a staple in any wardrobe.

Vans California Old Skool Reissue - True White (Vansguard)

Just dropped from Vans is this beautiful reissue of their classic Old Skool CA low top skate shoe, one of our favorites on the list. The shoe is constructed from premium materials such as cream dyed premium cow suede and off-white 10 oz. duck canvas. Subtle detailing adds to the look with off-white woven laces and a crisp white rubber sole. This robust sneaker has the added benefit of repellent materials with Vansguard weather coated treatment for increased longevity.

New Balance MRT580CW Shoes - Cream/Camo

While strictly not the purest white sneaker on our list we love this shoe to much not to mention it. A cream upper is mixed up with camouflage paneling across the tongue, heel and toe box. The sneaker is given the premium treatment with a textured tread gum sole and metal eyelets. We're loving this slight broader silhouette from New Balance.
