The Lake District - Travel


The Lake District, first time visitor, spent last weekend holed up in a rather snug Addict X Vango tent from a few seasons ago.  Maisie the shop dog seemed to enjoy it.

Lots of good walks and can recomend the campsite Parkfoot we stayed at, also taught a young German kid how to play frisbee, doing my bit for international relations.

The photos don't really do it justice but Penrith is a nice town, closes Sunday (good good) and seems to have a good selection of independant retailers (even better).  So next time you have the weekend off, give The Lake District a visit, it wont disappoint and the walking will do you good, ive manged to shift 20lbs in just under a month, just another 17lbs to go

Hottie of the Week - Yvonne Strahovski

So once again I've decided to resurrect our Hottie of the Week posts (although they should probably be more hottie of the month!) This week goes to a sexy Australian with a Polish name...Yvonne Strahovski! Currently starring in the final season of one of my favourite shows, Chuck, in America you may have also seen her in last years film Killer Elite with Jason Statham, Robert De Niro and Clive Owen. Or you may have heard her as a voice in the Mass Effect video Game Series Anyways I'll let the pictures do the talking!
