Mens Grooming

As Fat Buddha Store has grown up, so has the customer, we have classic brands like Loake, Sanders, Garbstore, Wood Wood and a few more dropping in next year.  So it only seems fitting to add a mens grooming section to the store & Website, brands like Aqua de Colnia (Alvarez Gomez), Baxter of California, Czech & Speake, Marvis (toothpaste) & proraso.

Below is a little bit of history on each one.

'Baxter of California'
Baxter of California is arguably the original modern-day male grooming system. Born in Beverley Hills in the 1960s, the brand has gained a loyal following and a solid reputation for quality. Their secret is continued innovation, epitomised recently by a complete reinvention and re-launch of the brand using state-of-the-art packaging and improved formulations that combine the trusted traditions of science with the finest natural ingredients.

'Marvis' (toothpaste)
Marvis is a classic toothpaste from Italy created using traditional methods to guarantee a rich, creamy paste. What makes Marvis unique is the range of exotic flavours – enticing and addictive tastes that produce a whirlwind of sensations. Marvis search the world to bring you irresistible new and original flavours that turn the simple act of teeth brushing into a daily pleasure of discovery and taste.

'Proraso'
Born in the 1920s in beautiful Florence where the products are still made, Proraso has loyally served three generations of well-groomed men. Today it enjoys the reputation as Italy’s most venerable barber shop shaving brand. For eighty years Proraso has guarded its secret formula based on Eucalyptus Oil and, in a way that only a small family owned Italian business can, the recipe has been passed down from one generation to the next.

'Czech & Speake'
Czech & Speake was founded in 1978 by Frank Sawkins whose unique vision was to create the finest quality bespoke bathroom fittings and compliment these with a range of matchless Aromatics. Out of this unique vision the Czech & Speake signature scent No.88 was born since which time the fragrance line has grown significantly in size and popularity whilst its understated exclusivity has been maintained by strictly limited distribution.

'Agua de Colonia' (Alvarez Gomez)
Agua de Colonia is the historic cologne from Alvarez Gomez, a Spanish family-owned business that is Madrid’s oldest and most prestigious fragrance house. This wonderfully uplifting, classic citrus scent combines extracts of Lemon, Geranium, Eucalyptus and Spanish Lavender with essential oils of Rosemary, Thyme, English Lavender and Bergamot. The Agua de Colonia range has never been introduced to the UK before and we are very excited to have discovered this exciting brand.

So, mens grooming is where its at, feel free to pop by the store and view the range, we are quite excited, and hope you will be to, you can view the full range HERE from Monday.
