Music Monday - Jay-Z's Magna Carta Holy Grail!

Jay-Z, the hip hop mogul/impresario/hero/legend/whatever you want to call him, sparked all sorts of controversy and conversation recently with the announcement of his 12th studio album 'Magna Carta Holy Grail'.

The album was officially announced during Game 5 of the 2013 NBA Finals, where Jay-Z was featured explaining the reasoning behind his newest album to acclaimed music producer Rick Rubin in an advert for Samsung, which also featured some of the albums producers such as Timbaland, Swizz Beatz and Pharrell.

It was announced that the album would release for free on July 4th through a special app, which would be exclusive to users of Samsung Galaxy S III, Samsung Galaxy S4 and the Samsung Galaxy Note II as Jay-Z had already sold 1 million copies of the album to Samsung.

The album released today to the general public and has already received generally good ratings from most critics. It features production from the likes of Boi-1da, Travis Scott and Hit Boy alongside the aforementioned producers, with guest spots from Rick Ross, Justin Timberlake, Frank Ocean and Jay-Z's good lady Beyonce!
