Trespass: A History of Uncommissioned Street Art
Here at Fat Buddha, two of our most favourite things are street art and quality books (our collection of art, design, architecture and culture books is probably the best in Glasgow). So when we heard that Taschen were working with Marc and Sara Schiller of Wooster Collective to produce Trespass: A History of Uncommissioned Street Art, we started to get excited.
After having a chance to see one of the first copies in the country last night, Leslie, Fraser and I were all truly impressed with both the content and quality of this book, this looks like it could be one of the defining publications of the street art scene over the last decade and one not to be missed!
Leslie got his order in straight away, so lots of lovely copies will be winging their way to us very soon, ensuring we will be the first in Glasgow, and probably Scotland, to have it. This will be a guaranteed hit with anyone who is into graffiti, street art or street culture or even just want to find out more about it. With Christmas around the corner, I'll be putting it on my list to Santa and keeping my fingers crossed that I've been good enough to get a copy!

If you've never heard of Wooster Collective, then you've been missing nearly ten years worth of the best images, videos, interviews and stories all relating to street art, ephemeral art and graffiti.
If you're still unsure of their credentials, then the names they called on for the Spring Street project a couple of years back will show how respected they are in the industry....Banksy, Faile, Shephard Fairey (Obey), The London Police, Swoon and D*Face were just a few of the dozens of the worlds finest street artists, stencil artists, wheat pasters, sticker artists and graffers who dropped everything to rush to NYC when Marc and Sara called - I doubt there is anyone else that could do that! It was printed by Modern Multiples, the same people that have printed prints have included Shepard Fairey's "Hope" posters for the President Obama campaign, D*Face's "Unamerican Graffiti" & "Riot Print", Ron English's "Camo Clown Kid", and prints for BANKSY's 2006 Los Angeles show, among many others.
